Majestic Layered Salad
|Fresh spinach||2⁄3 Pound, torn into bite-size pieces|
|Sliced fresh mushrooms||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Purple onion||1 Small, sliced and separated into rings|
|Frozen peas||10 Ounce, thawed, drained (English Peas)|
|Mayonnaise||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Curry powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Bacon slices||2 , cooked and crumbled|
Layer torn spinach, sliced mushrooms, onion rings, and English peas in a 2 1/2-quart salad bowl.
Combine mayonnaise, sugar, and curry powder, mix well.
Spread over top of salad, sealing to edge of bowl.
Cover salad tightly, and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.
Uncover salad and sprinkle with crumbled bacon before serving.
