Hot Turkey Salad
|Diced cooked turkey||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Beef consomme||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Thinly sliced celery||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Coarsely chopped roasted salted almonds||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Mayonnaise||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Grated onion||2 Tablespoon|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Pimiento||1 , cut into strips|
|Baked patty shells||6|
|Shredded cheddar cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Combine turkey and consomme in a saucepan, cook until turkey is thoroughly heated.
Add celery, almonds, mayonnaise, onion, lemon juice, pimiento, and pepper, mixing well.
Cook over low heat, stirring frequently, until mixture is thoroughly heated.
Fill patty shells with hot turkey salad.
Sprinkle with cheese, if desired, and bake at 350Â° for 5 minutes or until cheese melts.
