|Ripe pears||4 , halved and cored|
|Apple juice||1⁄2 Pint (300 milliliter)|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Red eating apples||2|
1. Put half the pears into a liquidizer with the apple juice; chop the remaining pears and toss in the lemon juice to prevent discoloration.
2. Blend the pears and apple juice together until smooth and pour into a glass bowl; add the chopped pear and lemon juice.
3. Halve, core and finely chop the apples; combine with the pear mixture and add the sultanas.
4. Chill very well and serve in small glass dessert bowls.
