Herring And Potato Salad is an amazingly delicious side dish recipe. A deadly combination of herring and potato will surely tempt you to serve this Herring And Potato Salad to your loved ones.
Ingredients
  Marinated herring and onions in wine sauce 12 Ounce
  Peeled potatoes 2 Pound
  Sliced celery 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  White wine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Olive oil 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Chopped onion 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Chopped dill/1 teaspoon dried dill 2 Tablespoon
  Chopped parsley 2 Tablespoon
  Lettuce 1
Directions

Drain 1 (12-oz.) jar marinated herring and onions in wine sauce and cut herring into bite-sized pieces.
Set aside.
Place 6 cups peeled, sliced potatoes in boiling salted water to cover and boil 10 to 15 minutes, or until tender.
Drain.
Place hot potatoes in a large bowl and add 1 cup sliced celery, 1/2 cup white wine and 1/4 cup each olive oil and chopped onion, 2 tablespoons each chopped fresh dill (or 1 teaspoon dried dill) and chopped parsley.
Carefully stir to mix well.
Cover and let stand at room temperature until potatoes are cooled.
Stir in drained herring and chill, covered.
Serve in a lettuce-lined bowl.
