Layered Strawberry-Nut Salad

Ingredients
  Strawberry gelatin 6 Ounce
  Frozen strawberries 28 Ounce
  Bananas 3 , mashed
  Canned crushed pineapple 1 Pound (4 Ounce)
  Chopped walnuts 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
  Sour cream 1 Pint
Directions

Combine gelatin and 1 cup boiling water; stir until dissolved.
Thaw berries slightly.
Add strawberries, bananas, drained pineapple and walnuts.
Place half the mixture in 9 x 9-inch pan; chill until firm.
Spread sour cream evenly over top; carefully spoon on remaining strawberry mixture.
Chill until firm.
