Wilted Lettuce And Egg Salad
|Vinegar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Hard cooked eggs||3|
|Bread cubes||2 Tablespoon|
|Garlic salt||To Taste|
Fry bacon until crisp; drain, reserving drippings.
Saute onion in bacon drippings until golden; add vinegar.
Bring to a boil; reduce heat.
Tear lettuce into bite-sized pieces; combine with eggs and bacon.
Season with salt and pepper.
Saute bread cubes in small amount of bacon drippings until crisp and brown.
Sprinkle with garlic salt.
Pour hot vine- gar mixture over lettuce; toss lightly.
Sprinkle top with bread cubes; serve immediately.
