1. Cook the pasta in salt water for 8 minutes and once it’s done drain it and keep it aside.
2. In a large mixing bowl mix the pasta along with the apple, chicken breast, basil paste, Italian dressing & balsamic vinegar. Toss well so that pasta apple and chicken are nicely coated with dressing.
3. You can refrigerate the salad for 30 minutes so that all the flavors marry together. You can also serve it warm or at room temperature.
4. Sprinkle some grated Parmesan cheese over the salad before serving. It makes a wonderful side dish to barbecued foods. Perfect for picnics, potlucks or get-togethers.
Please do add salt into the pasta water since it will give the flavor to the cooked pasta and you do not have to add any salt to the salad.
