Stuffed Pear Salad
|Cream cheese||6 Ounce|
|Creamed cottage cheese||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Snipped pitted dates||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Diced toasted almonds||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
Soften cream cheese; blend with cottage cheese.
Add dates and almonds; refrigerate for 3 hours.
Pare, halve and scoop out centers of pears.
Sprinkle pear halves generously with lemon juice.
Arrange 2 pear halves on salad greens on individual salad plates.
Fill each pear half with cheese mixture.
