Drain peaches; reserve syrup.
Add enough water to reserved syrup to make 1 1/2 cups liquid.
Mix liquid with vinegar and spices; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; cook slowly for 10 minutes.
Remove spices; add gelatin to hot liquid.
Stir to dissolve; cool.
Add peaches to gelatin mixture.
Pour into mold; chill until firm.
