Quick And Simple Dinner Salad

Ingredients
  Red wine vinegar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Olive oil 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Mixed herb 1 Tablespoon, chopped (a mix of thyme, rosemary, basil and parsley used)
  Black pepper To Taste
  Salt To Taste
  Onion 1 , chopped finely
  Oranges 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Almonds 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), blanched
  Cranberries 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salad greens 1 Pound
Directions

MAKING

1. For the dressing:  In a bowl, combine red wine vinegar, sugar and olive oil. Add in the herbs, and season with salt and pepper. Mix well to combine.

2.  In a salad bowl, place the salad greens. Add in the almonds, cranberries, onion and orange.

3.  Drizzle the dressing over salad and toss to combine.

 

SERVING

4.  Serve fresh.
