Thai Green Papaya Salad
|Green papaya||1 Large|
|Garlic cloves||2 Large, peeled and lightly crushed|
|Thai chili peppers||4 (Red And Green Colored)|
|Tomatoes||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), sliced|
|Coconut palm sugar/Regular sugar||1 Tablespoon|
|Fish sauce||3 Tablespoon|
|Roasted peanuts||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
1 Peel the green papaya.
2 Using a shredder, shred the papaya.
3 In a mortar, lightly smash the garlic and chilies.
4 Add in the shredded papaya and lightly smash in the mortar.
5 Using a spoon, turn it over and beat again.
6 Add in the sliced tomatoes and smash.
7 Stir in the fish sauce, coconut palm sugar and beat again so that the flavors can blend.
8 Gently squeeze in the lime juice.
9 Serve in a bowl, topped with roasted peanuts and beans.
