Watercress Salad Supreme

Ingredients
  Watercress 2 Bunch (200 gm)
  Lettuce head 2
  Tart peeled apples 2
  Chopped walnuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Maple syrup 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Dry mustard 1 Tablespoon
  Sweet basil 1 Teaspoon
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm)
  Olive oil 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
Directions

Remove coarse stems from watercress; tear watercress and lettuce into bite-sized pieces into salad bowl.
Add apples and walnuts.
Combine salt, sugar, syrup, mustard, basil, garlic and olive oil in small jar; blend thoroughly.
Pour dressing over salad; toss lightly.
Serve immediately.
