Hot Potato And Broccoli Salad

Ingredients
  Potatoes 4 Medium, cooked, peeled & diced
  Broccoli 2 Pound, trimmed, broken into small florets & cooked (1 bunch)
  Vegetable oil/Salad oil 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Lemon juice 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Garlic powder 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Salt 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Basil 1 Teaspoon
  Liquid hot pepper sauce 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Green onions 2 , sliced (scallions, with stems)
Directions

MAKING
1) Keep both cooked potatoes and broccoli hot.
2) Take a saucepan and combine all the remaining ingredients in it. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly.
3) Pour prepared dressing over vegetables and toss lightly.

SERVING
4) Transfer salad to a bowl and serve immediately. It can also be served cold, if desired.
