Molded Citrus Fruit Salad
|Unflavored gelatin||2 Tablespoon|
|Lemon juice||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Orange juice||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Sliced bananas||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Tangerine sections||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Grapefruit sections||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Orange sections||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sliced unpeeled red apples||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sliced unpeeled green pears||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
Soften gelatin in fresh lemon juice and place over hot water to melt.
Stir in water, fresh orange juice, salt and sugar.
Pour 1/2-inch layer of clear gelatin into an oiled 6-cup mold.
Chill until stiff.
Arrange a layer of sliced bananas and tangerine sections as desired over the firm gelatin.
Pour in another 1/2-inch layer of gelatin mixture.
Chill until firm.
Repeat this process, using layers of grapefruit sections, orange sections, sliced apples and pears.
Chill until firm and ready to serve.
Unmold onto a serving plate and garnish as desired.
