While you're waiting for the water to come to a boil you can start on your dressing. The juice of 1 lemon, Dijon mustard, a pinch of basil leaves, thyme and oregano should be combined in a meauring cup or glass bowl. Once your ingredients are mixed together drizzle about half a tablespoon of olive oil in. You want just enough to round out the flavors.
Once your pot of water has come to a boil go ahead and add your green beans. Let them boil for 3 minutes. After 3 minutes you'll want to stop the cooking process by eating putting them in an ice bath or by draining your green beans and spraying them down with cold water.
