Summer Salad

Cook up an appetizing lunch with this Summer Salad recipe. I am sure you'll be surprised with the ease you prepare this Summer Salad! So just give it a try!
Ingredients
  Unflavored gelatin 1
  Cold water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Hot water 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Cabbage 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), shredded
  Celery 1 Cup (16 tbs), diced
  Green pepper 2 Tablespoon, minced
  Vinegar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

Soften gelatin in cold water.
Add hot water, sugar and salt and stir until sugar is dissolved.
Add vinegar and lemon juice.
Chill until mixture is the consistency of unbeaten egg whites.
Stir in cabbage, celery and green pepper.
Turn into large or individual molds and chill until firm.
Unmold on lettuce and serve with mayonnaise.
