Herbed Cucumber Salad

Ingredients
  Cucumber 1 Medium
  Coarse salt 1 Tablespoon
  Vinegar 2 Tablespoon
  Water 1 Tablespoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Chives 1 Tablespoon, chopped and/or sliced spring onions
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Slice cucumber. You can peel the skin or keep it as desired.
2. Sprinkle salt between the layers.
3. Keep aside for 2 hours.

MAKING
4. Rinse under water to remove salt.
5. Drain out thoroughly and arrange in a flat dish.
6. In a bowl mix water, vinegar and seasonings.
7. Pour it over cucumber.

GETTING READY
8. Sprinkle chopped chives and thin slices of spring onion on top.
