Fresh Pear Salad
|Mayonnaise||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Shredded sharp cheese||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
|Blue plums||2 Large|
|Whole walnut meats||6|
Combine mayonnaise and cheese.
Peel pears, cut in half lengthwise and core.
Sprinkle with lemon juice to keep from darkening.
Place a plum ring in the center of each half and then a spoonful of the mayonnaise mixture.
Top each salad with a whole nut meat.
Arrange on lettuce leaves and serve with additional cheese-mayonnaise.
