Hot Potato Salad

Ingredients
  New potatoes 1 Pound (450 Gram)
  Butter 1 Ounce (25 Gram)
  Onions 2 Medium, thinly sliced
  Water 4 Tablespoon
  White wine vinegar 4 Tablespoon
  Salt 5 Teaspoon (Leveled)
  Freshly ground black pepper To Taste
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
Directions

1. Cook the potatoes in their skins for about 15 minutes until just tender. Drain and cut with skins.
2. Melt the butter in a fairly large saucepan, add the onions, cover and cook gently until soft without browning, about 10 minutes.
3. Add the remaining ingredients (except potatoes) and cook if necessary to soften the onion further.
4. Add the potatoes and heat through gently. Sprinkle with parsley or herbs if used.
