Wilted Steak Salad
|Steak sauce||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Red wine vinegar||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Vegetable oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Beef top round steak||1 Pound (1 In Number)|
|Torn mixed salad greens||6 Cup (96 tbs)|
|Cherry tomato halves||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sliced cucumber||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Crumbled blue cheese||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
In small bowl, blend steak sauce, vinegar and oil.
Place steak in glass dish; coat with 1/4 cup steak sauce mixture.
Cover; chill 1 hour, turning occasionally.
In small saucepan, over medium heat, heat remaining steak sauce mixture to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 1 minute.
Remove steak from marinade.
Grill over medium heat for 6 minutes on each side or until done.
Cut steak into thin slices.
In salad bowl, arrange salad greens, steak, tomatoes and cucumber.
Pour warm marinade over salad; top with blue cheese if desired.
Toss to coat well; serve immediately.
