Festive Fruit Salad
|Sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Canned crushed pineapple||20 Ounce, drained (1 Can)|
|Red apples||4 Medium, cut in to chunks (Unpeeled)|
|Green grapes||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped pecans||1 Cup (16 tbs), toasted|
|Red maraschino cherries||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), quartered|
|Green maraschino cherries||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), quartered|
In a saucepan, combine sugar and flour.
Stir in milk and pineapple until blended.
Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
Remove from the heat; add butter.
In a bowl, combine the apples, grapes, pecans and cherries.
Add dressing; stir to coat.
Cover and refrigerate until serving.
