Fruit Salad With Poppy Seed Dressing
|For poppy seed dressing|
|Red wine vinegar/Cider vinegar||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Ground mustard||1 Teaspoon|
|Vegetable oil||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Poppy seeds||1 Tablespoon|
|Pineapple chunks||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Green grapes||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Firm bananas||2 Medium, sliced|
|Sliced fresh strawberries||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Lettuce leaves/Lemon leaves||4|
In a blender or food processor, combine the vinegar, sugar, mustard and salt.
While processing, gradually add oil in a steady stream.
Stir in poppy seeds.
Just before serving, combine the fruits.
Serve with poppy seed dressing in an ice bowl lined with lettuce or lemon leaves if desired.
