Avocado And Walnut Salad

Ingredients
  Boston lettuce head 1
  Ripe avocado 1 Large
  Chopped walnuts 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
For dressing
  Vegetable oil 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  White wine vinegar 2 Tablespoon
  Dijon mustard 1 Teaspoon
  Dried tarragon 1 Pinch
  Freshly ground pepper To Taste
  Salt To Taste
Directions

Wash lettuce and pat dry; arrange on 3 or 4 individual salad plates.
Peel and pit avocado; slice thinly lengthwise and arrange on lettuce.
Sprinkle nuts over.
Dressing: In small jar or bowl, combine all ingredients, adding salt and pepper to taste.
Drizzle over salads.
Serve at room temperature within 30 minutes.
