Cinnamon Gelatin Salad
|Red hot candies||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Raspberry gelatin/Cherry gelatin||6 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Boiling water||1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)|
|Ground cinnamon||1 Teaspoon|
|Cold water||1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)|
|Tart apple||1 Medium, peeled and chopped|
|Chopped pecans||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
In a heavy saucepan, cook and stir candies and -water until candies are melted.
In a bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
Stir in candy mixture and cinnamon.
Stir in cold water.
Cover and refrigerate until partially set.
Fold in apple and pecans.
Pour into a 1-1/2-qt serving bowl.
Refrigerate until set.
