Tomato Salad In Red Wine Vinaigrette

Ingredients
  Lettuce leaves 1
  Tomato slices 12 Large
  Salt To Taste
  Freshly ground pepper To Taste
  Crushed basil 1 Tablespoon
  Red wine vinegar 3 Tablespoon
  Olive oil 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Arrange lettuce leaves on 4 individual salad plates.
Arrange tomato slices on top.
Sprinkle with salt, freshly ground pepper and basil.
Combine vinegar and oil in a jar.
Shake and pour over each.
Serve immediately.
Makes 4 servings.
