Tropical Fruit Salad

Ingredients
  Ground ginger 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Honey 1 Tablespoon
  Fresh lime juice 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (From 2 Limes)
For fruits
  Bananas 1 , peeled and sliced
  Pineapple 1⁄4 , peeled and cut into bite-sized pieces
  Cantaloupe 1⁄4 , peeled and cut into bite-sized pieces
  Mango 1⁄2 , peeled and cubed
  Kiwi 1 , peeled, halved, and sliced into half-circles
  Strawberries 6 , stemmed and halved
Directions

In a small bowl, mix the ginger and honey together well and then stir in the lime juice.
Set aside.
As you cut the fruit, place it in a large serving bowl, pour the dressing over it, and stir.
The lime juice will keep the fruit from discoloring.
This salad keeps well, covered, in the refrigerator for 2 or 3 hours.
If you wish to make the salad several hours ahead of time, omit the bananas and store the salad in the refrigerator.
Stir in the bananas a few minutes before serving.
Serve at room temperature or chilled.
