Asparagus And Tomato Salad

Ingredients
  Asparagus 2 Pound
  Plain yogurt 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Mayonnaise 1 Tablespoon
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ground black pepper To Taste
  Diced tomatoes 1 Cup (16 tbs) (About 2 Medium Tomatoes)
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Wash asparagus thoroughly.
2) Gently snap off the stalks at the beginning of the tough ends and discard them.

MAKING
3) In a double boiler or steamer over boiling water,stand the stems upright .
4) Steam for 10 to 12 minutes, or until just cooked through.
5) Drain thoroughly.
6) Arrange on a platter.
7) In a small container, mix together yogurt, mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
8) In a microwave oven or double boiler,warm yogurt mixture slightly and stir in tomatoes.

SERVING
9) Pour yogurt-tomato mixture over asparagus and serve.
