Tangy Cabbage Salad

Ingredients
  Unflavored gelatin 1 Tablespoon (1 Envelope)
  Cold water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Lemon juice 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Beer 12 Ounce (1 Can Or Bottle)
  Shredded cabbage 1 Pound (1 1/2 Cups, About Half Of A 2-Pound Head)
  Green pepper 1⁄2 , shredded
Directions

MAKING
1) In a saucepan soften gelatin in cold water. Stir the mixture over low heat till dissolved.
2) Mix sugar, lemon juice, and salt. Stir the mixture to dissolve.
3) Mix beer and chill partially till thick.
4) Add cabbage and green pepper.
5) Place in 3 1/2-cup mold, a shallow 1 1/2 quart oblong casserole (8 x 6 inches), or 6 individual molds.

SERVING
6) Serve cold.
