Shrimp Appetizer Salad
|Cocktail shrimp||16 Ounce (4 Glasses, 4 Ounces Each, Ready To Serve, Refrigerated)|
|Finely shredded lettuce||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Mayonnaise/Salad dressing||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Sweet pickle relish||1 Tablespoon|
1) Take a small bowl and collect sauce from shrimp cocktails in it.
2) Take 4 serving dishes or salad plates; place lettuce on them and top with shrimps.
3) In a 1-cup measure, mix mayonnaise or salad dressing and pickle relish with 1/4 cup of cocktail sauce.
4) Serve at once, passing over the cocktail sauce mixture at the table separately to pour over shrimps.
To speed up collection of sauce from shrimp cocktails, just empty the shrimps into a strainer set over a bowl.
Any left over cocktail sauce can be used to season stew or to use as a sandwich spread.
