|Potatoes||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), diced|
|Cooked veal||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), diced|
|Apples||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), diced|
|Cooked beets||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), diced|
|Herring||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), marinated|
|Capers||2 Tablespoon, drained|
|Onion||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), finley chopped|
1) In a bowl, mix all ingredients excluding mayonnaise.
2) Toss to coat well.
3) Chill for several hours or overnight.
4) Toss with mayonnaise.
5) Before serving, arrange in a large salad bowl lined with salad greens.
6) Garnish the salad with mayonnaise, chopped hard-cooked egg whites and yolks, dill pickle slices, or black and green olives.
