Fresh Apple and Cranberry Slaw

We know you'll love the crunch of this fresh and flavorful recipe! Made with colorful apples and a store-bought coleslaw mix, it's easy to whip up for a family meal and so pretty, you'll want to take it along to your next get-together too

Ingredients

Red apple 2 1/4 Cup (36 tbs) , cored and cubed
Green apple 2 1/4 Cup (36 tbs) , cored and cubed
Coleslaw mix 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Dried cranberries 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs) , sweetened (or dried fruit or your choice)
Walnuts 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs) , chopped (or nuts of your choice)
Sour cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Lemon juice 3 Tablespoon
Vinegar 2 Tablespoon
Sugar 1 Tablespoon
Poppy seed 1 Tablespoon
Salt 3/4 Teaspoon
Pepper 1/8 Teaspoon

Directions

MAKING

1. Core the apples and cut them in cubes.

2. In a large bowl , place together coleslaw mix, apples, cranberries, walnuts, lemon juice, sour cream, sugar, vinegar, salt, pepper and poppy seeds.

3. Lightly toss all the ingredients, until well combined.

4. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.

SERVING

5. Serve cold as desired.
