Orange and Onion Salad
|Head of lettuce||1⁄2 Small|
|White onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||3 Tablespoon|
|Salad oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Garlic powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Powdered mustard||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Wash salad greens and dry thoroughly.
Tear into bite-size pieces and place in a salad bowl.
Peel oranges and cut into crosswise slices.
Place as desired over salad greens and top with onion rings.
Combine fresh lemon juice, salad oil, garlic powder, salt, mustard, and sugar.
Add to salad just before serving.
