Western Perfection Salad
|Lemon gelatin||3 Ounce (1 Box)|
|Hot water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cold water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Wine vinegar||2 Tablespoon|
|Salt||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Shredded carrots||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) (Or Finely Chopped)|
|Shredded cabbage||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) (Or Chopped)|
|Diced celery||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Sour cream/Dressing||4 Tablespoon (As Desired)|
Dissolve gelatin in hot water.
Stir in next 3 ingredients.
Chill until thickened to the consistency of unbeaten egg whites.
Fold in vegetables and pour into pan (8 x 8 x 2 inches).
Chill until firm.
Cut into 6 servings and put on greens.
Serve with dressing.
Makes 6 servings.
