Apple Almond Salad

Ingredients
  Salad oil 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Malt vinegar 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Almond extract 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Torn mixed greens 6 Cup (96 tbs)
  Apples 3 Medium, cut into wedges
  Thinly sliced celery 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sliced green onion 2 Tablespoon
  Slivered almonds 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), toasted
Directions

For dressing, in a screw-top jar combine salad oil, sugar, malt vinegar, salt, and almond extract.
Cover jar and shake well till sugar and salt dissolve.
Chill in the refrigerator for several hours.
Before serving, in a large salad bowl combine mixed greens, apple wedges, sliced celery, and sliced green onion.
Sprinkle with toasted almonds.
Pour dressing over salad and toss gently to coat.
Serve immediately.
