Melon Filled with Fruit Salad
|Lemon||1 , juiced|
|Clear honey||3 Tablespoon|
|Honeydew melon||1 Large|
|Canned mandarin oranges||11 Ounce (1 Can)|
|White grapes||8 Ounce|
|Candied cherries||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Whipping cream||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
Mix the lemon juice with the honey.
Slice the top third off the melon, remove the seeds and scoop out the flesh with a small spoon or melon bailer, to form little balls.
Drain the mandarin oranges and stir 3 tablespoons of the juice into the lemon and honey mixture.
Peel, core and slice the apple.
Slice the banana and halve and seed the washed grapes.
Mix all the fruit together with the honey juice.
Whip the cream with the vanilla extract until thick and add to the fruit salad.
Arrange in the scooped-out melon.
