Molded Grapefruit And Pineapple Salad
|Lemon-flavored gelatin/Lime flavored gelatin||3 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Boiling water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Grapefruit sections||1 Cup (16 tbs), cut up (Use Either Fresh Or Canned, Including Juice)|
|Canned pineapple chunks||13 1⁄2 Ounce, drained (1 Can)|
|Quartered maraschino cherries/Candied cherries||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Coarsely chopped pecans||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Mix gelatin with boiling water, stirring until dissolved; cool, then chill until syrupy and stir in remaining ingredients.
Spoon into an ungreased 3-cup mold or 4—6 individual molds.
Chill until firm, unmold, and serve with mayonnaise or Cream Cheese and Fruit Dressing.
