Garlic Salad Nicoise

Ingredients
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), peeled and halved
  Boston lettuce head 1 , trimmed, broken in bite-size pieces, and chilled
  French dressing 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Diced cooked potatoes 2 Cup (32 tbs) (Use Cold)
  Cooked cut green beans 2 Cup (32 tbs) (Use Cold)
  Ripe olives 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Tomatoes 2 , cored and cut in wedges
  Rolled anchovies 2 Ounce, drained (1 Can)
  Capers 1 Tablespoon
  Minced fresh chervil 1 Teaspoon
  Minced fresh tarragon 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Rub a salad bowl with garlic, add lettuce, 2-3 tablespoons dressing, and toss.
Mix 1/4 cup dressing with potatoes and beans, then pile on lettuce.
Garnish with olives, tomatoes, and anchovies, sprinkle with capers, herbs, and remaining salad dressing.
Do not toss.
