Black Eyed Pea Salad
|Black-eyed peas||2 Can (20 oz), drained|
|Hot sauce||1 Dash|
|Red onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
|Green pepper||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
|Garlic||1⁄2 Clove (2.5 gm)|
|Vinegar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Vegetable oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
1.In a mixing bowl, put black eyed peas, red onion, chopped green pepper and garlic and stir.
2.In a separate bowl, mix vinegar, salt, sugar, oil, pepper and hot sauce.
3.Once mixed, pour it on thepea mixture.
4.Cover the bowl and allow to chill for minimum 12 hours.
5.Take the garlic out before serving.
7.Serve in a dish.
