Frozen Pea Salad
|Frozen peas||12 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Ranch salad dressing||4 Ounce (1 Package, Hidden Valley Original)|
|Buttermilk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sour cream||8 Ounce (1 Carton)|
|Onion||1 Small, chopped|
|Lettuce head||1 Small, cut into bite size pieces|
|Hard cooked eggs||4 , diced|
|Bacon strips||10 , fried and drained|
Thaw peas; drain on paper towels.
In a small bowl put dry dressing mix, buttermilk and sour cream; whip this mixture until creamy and smooth.
Add onion, salt and pepper to taste.
In a large bowl combine lettuce, diced eggs, drained bacon and drained peas.
Add dressing mixture and toss lightly until salad ingredients are coated/Refrigerate until chilled; serve.
