Watercress Spring Onion and Lettuce Salad
|Iceberg lettuce||250 Gram|
|Watercress sprigs||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Spring onions||100 Gram, finley sliced|
|Ground black pepper||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|French dressing||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), made|
GETTING READY 1) Separate lettuce leaves, wash and watercress well. MAKING 2) In a bowl of ice-cold water, place the lettuce for about 30 minutes and then drain, watercress and dry with a kitchen towel. 3) Into suitable-sized pieces, tear lettuce leaves. 4) In a large bowl, combine all ingredients together except dressing and then chill. 5) Just before serving, sprinkle dressing over the salad and toss well. SERVING 6) Serve chilled salad.
