Main Dish Salad
|Greens||6 Cup (96 tbs), shredded|
|Freshly ground black pepper||To Taste|
|Hard cooked eggs||5 , shelled and thinly sliced|
|Frozen peas||10 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Shredded swiss cheese||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Bacon bits||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), crisp cooked, drained and crumbled|
|Salad dressing/Mayonnaise||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sliced green onion with tops||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Place half the greens into a large salad bowl.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Layer eggs on top of greens and sprinkle again with salt and pepper.
Place remaining greens on top, then add peas, cheese, and bacon bits in order.
Spread mayonnaise evenly over top.
Cover well and chill about 24 hours.
Toss well before serving.
Garnish with green onion and paprika.
