Beef and Vegetables in Black Bean Sauce
|Vegetable oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Garlic||1 Teaspoon, minced|
|Ground ginger||1 Teaspoon|
|Onion||1 , finely sliced|
|Rump steak||12 Ounce, cut into strips (375 Gram)|
|Sesame oil||2 Teaspoon|
|Red pepper||1⁄2 , sliced|
|Bean sprouts||3 1⁄2 Ounce (100 Gram)|
|Mangetout||2 Ounce (60 Gram)|
|Black bean sauce||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Soy sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Beef stock||3 Tablespoon|
1. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or frying pan and cook garlic and ginger over a medium heat for 1 minute. Add onion and beef and stir-fry for 3 minutes or until beef is browned. Remove from pan and set aside.
2. Heat sesame oil in pan, add red pepper, bean sprouts and mangetout and stir-fry for 1 minute. Add black beans, soy sauce, stock, sugar and cornflour mixture and cook, stirring, until mixture thickens slightly. Return beef and onions to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes or until heated through.
