Freezer Cabbage Salad

Ingredients
  Cabbage head 1 Large, shredded
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Vinegar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Dry mustard 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Paprika 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Green pepper 1 Medium, chopped
  Diced pimiento 2 Ounce (Drained)
Directions

Sprinkle cabbage with salt in 3-quart bowl; let stand 2 hours.
Heat sugar, vinegar, water, mustard and paprika to boiling.
Boil 1 minute; cool.
Drain cabbage; stir in green pepper and pimiento.
Toss vinegar mixture with vegetables.
Divide among three 1-pint freezer containers.
Cover, label and freeze no longer than 2 months.
