Quick Veg Salad

This is a wonderful light salad. Serve it as a side alongwith sandwich or pasta of your choice.
Ingredients
  Smoked sweet paprika 1⁄4 Teaspoon (For vinaigrette)
  Honey 1 Teaspoon (For vinaigrette)
  Torned sweet basil leaves 3 (For vinaigrette)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
  Heart of romaine 1 , rinsed and roughly chopped
  Grape tomatoes/Cherry tomatoes 10
  Cucumber 1⁄2 , thinly sliced
  Chopped yellow onion/Chopped red onion 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Croutons 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (of your choice)
  White wine vinegar 1 Teaspoon (For vinaigrette)
  Organic extra virgin olive oil 1 Tablespoon (For vinaigrette)
  Garlic clove 1 Small, finely chopped (For vinaigrette)
Directions

1)Prepare and mix the salad ingredients in a large bowl.
2)Blend together white wine vinegar, honey, paprika, salt & pepper and extra virgin olive oil for about a minute.
3)Mix in chopped garlic and torned basil. Let the vinaigrette sit for about 15-20 minutes.
4)When ready to enjoy the salad, pour the vinaigrette over the salad.

Note:
1)If you do not like biting into the bits of garlic then you can give it a whack with your knife and then add it to the vinaigrette. Do remember to take the garlic out before serving.
