Cider Gelatin Salad
|Unflavored gelatin||1 Ounce (1 Envelope)|
|Cold water||2 Tablespoon|
|Fresh lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Hot sweet cider||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Diced apples||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Diced celery||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped nuts||2 Tablespoon|
Sprinkle gelatin on combined cold water and lemon juice to soften.
Add hot cider and sugar and stir until dissolved.
When mixture begins to set, fold in apple and celery.
Turn into 6 individual molds and chill until firm.
Unmold; serve on lettuce and top with mayonnaise and chopped nuts.
