Mustard Burger With Tomato And Onion Salad
|Beef mince||1 Kilogram|
|Seeded mustard||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Dijon mustard||2 Teaspoon|
|Beef stock||1 Teaspoon|
|Stale breadcrumbs||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Black pepper||1 Teaspoon|
|Chopped capsicum||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (red)|
|For tomato and onion salad|
|Red onion||1 Small|
|Red wine vinegar||2 Tablespoon|
|Caster sugar||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Lemon juice||2 Teaspoon|
PREPARE AND HEAT barbecue.
Place beef mince in large bowl.
1.Add mustards, stock powder, breadcrumbs, egg, pepper and capsicum; mix well with hands.
Divide mixture into 8 portions.
2.Shape portions into round patties.
Cook on hot lightly greased barbecue grill or flatplate 2-3 minutes each side, turning once.
Serve with Tomato and Onion Salad and bread of choice.
3.To make Tomato and Onion Salad: Chop onion and tomatoes into small cubes.
Combine in bowl with vinegar, sugar and juice; mix well.
