Kani Salad

Ingredients
  Crab stick 1 (kani stick)
  Kyuri 1 (japanese cucumber)
  Lettuce 1 Cup (16 tbs) (any kind)
  Japanese mayonnaise 2 Tablespoon
  Tobiko 1 (Fish Roe)
Directions

- Wash all the vegetables and sliced it (for Kyuri: do not remove the seeds inside) it is much tastefull...
- After you sliced the vegetables soak it in a ice cold water.
- Put all the ingredients in a salad bowl with and mixed with mayonaise and kani stick

kani salad is so delicious can u spare me how to make the dressing others use mayonnaise but this is so creamy and high in cholesterol becos of the eggs is there any altenative without using mayo since this is so in fats. please advise thanks

Unless you're deftly allergic to mayonnaise and there are no serious physical ramifications on its consumption, go for the Japanese mayonnaise :D Eaten sparingly, you have nothing to worry about. The fun and flavor in food is in the richness and freshness of the ingredients - this belief I share with Julia Child (bless her soul). Japanese mayo gets the acidic flavor from rice wine vinegar - this flavor sets it apart from its American counterpart.

a great variation is to use sliced ripe mangoes ....super good !!!!

@Anonymous...substitute for your mayonaise is american lemon(4pcs.) juice mixed with rice bran oil. The amount of your lemon juice is equal to the amount of rice bran oil
