Cottage Macaroni Salad
|Elbow macaroni||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Cubed american cheese||4 Ounce (1 Cup)|
|Cream-style cottage cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped seeded cucumber||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Shredded carrot||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sliced green onion||2 Tablespoon|
|Salad dressing/Mayonnaise||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Dairy sour cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Bottled hot pepper sauce||1 Dash|
Cook macaroni according to package directions; rinse with cold water and drain.
Combine macaroni and next 5 ingredients.
Blend salad dressing, sour cream, vinegar, hot pepper sauce, and 3/4 teaspoon salt.
Toss with macaroni mixture.
Chill. (If mixture seems dry, stir in a little milk.)
