Jellied Grapefruit and Lime Salad
|Lime gelatin||1 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Hot water||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Or Boiling)|
|Canned grapefruit syrup||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Canned grapefruit||1 Cup (16 tbs), drained|
|Sliced stuffed olives||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Salad greens||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Mayonnaise/French dressing||3 Tablespoon|
Dissolve the gelatin dessert in hot or boiling water, depending upon the manufacturer's directions.
Add the grapefruit syrup, drained from the canned grapefruit; then chill until it begins to thicken.
Add the drained grapefruit and sliced olives, turn into 8 small individual molds and chill until set.
Unmold on salad greens arranged on a large platter, and garnish with slices of avocado.
Serve with mayonnaise or French dressing.
