Mixed Lettuce Salad
|Iceberg lettuce head||1 , shredded|
|Romaine lettuce head||1 Medium, shredded|
|Bibb lettuce head/Boston lettuce head||1 , shredded|
|Slivered almonds||1 1⁄2 Ounce, lightly toasted (6 Tablespoon)|
|Heavy cream||1 1⁄3 Cup (21.33 tbs)|
|Dijon mustard/Meaux mustard||2 Tablespoon|
|Lemon juice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Blend the cream into the mustard, then add the lemon juice and seasoning.
Cover and keep cool.
Toss the lettuce together and put into one or two cold salad bowls.
Stir the dressing and pour over the lettuce.
Toss lightly, then sprinkle the nuts over.
Toss again very briefly and serve at once.
